And The Number One Question Gradock Gets Asked Is…….

From my oldest child: "Daddy, can we go to Target?"

Seriously though, the #1 question we get asked is, "If a Democrat is elected as president, will a push toward Universal Health Coverage bring an end to HSAs?"

Great question.  The answer is… nope.

Universal Health Coverage is not free health coverage.  Somebody has still got to pay for it somehow and some way.  So, be you a Republican, Democrat, Libertarian, Independent, and regardless of who your next President is, Health Savings Accounts are going to be here for awhile.

In fact, in a Bearing Point, a leading management and technology consulting firm, in an article published just last month forecast HSA projections could increase beyond 2012 estimates of more than 20,000,000 accounts with the implementation of Universal Health Coverage.
