How $1 Trillion of Government Spending is Going to Slow the Rising Cost of Health Care.
|
This is a question you may or may not have been pondering. But here’s the thing, to spend $1 trillion to save money means $1 trillion has got to come out of the system somewhere else or it is merely an accelaration of the cost of health care by……..you guessed it, $1 trillion or $1,000,000,000,000 if you’ve forgotten how large that number looks when written out in longhand. Alan Reynolds opinion piece in the September 7th printed edition of Forbes entitled “Hey Big Spender,” sort of exposes the elephant in the room when we hear the President from one side of his mouth of the importance of slowing the rate of Federal spending on health care, while at the same time rationalizing $1 trillion in new spending out of the other. Let me be perfectly clear, if you are not clearly confused by government logic, you are clearly unclear. |
