So yesterday we checked out a FREE program designed to help individuals save more money into their Health Savings Accounts.  Launched as My HSA Rewards, the program provides cash rewards into individuals’ health savings accounts in return for shopping through the program’s network of retail and service partners.

Basically, you go to the site, sign up, shop online, earn cash back which they track, it accumulates in your membership account until you attain $50 and then you can move it into your HSA account.

They’ve got a few hundred online merchants and service providers (thousands I suppose, if you count all the restaurants you can buy discount certificates for), and the site is very easy to navigate.  I am sure I was one of the first folks to sign up for the program, and I even bought some sheets from Overstock.com, which looks to have earned me a future deposit of a couple of bucks into my HSA. 

There are tons of ways to earn cash now, and in time, we would expect them to increase the earnings opportunities which will expedite the cash that much more.  Kinda cool.
